Wedding in Hobbiton is truly magical place on Earth! Steve and Desiree come to New Zealand from Michigan, USA to celebrate this special day with their close friends and family. It was a honour for me to be their photographer, and to be part of this celebration.

Couple shared their love story: “n 2011 we met through a mutual friend in high school. We went to college together and reconnected in 2021 when I moved back to MI and were both living in Grand Rapids. We have been dating almost 4 1/2 years, engaged for a year and 4 months.” Proposal was made when: “We went to the UP (Upper Peninsula) of Michigan as I always wanted to be proposed to in front of a waterfall. After a small hike to the waterfall he proposed at the base of the waterfall.”

Couple was the most excited about: “to start the beginning of the rest of our lives together while enjoying it with family and a wonderful venue.”
