I met with Lysea and her family - her husband and mum - at the beautiful Auckland Domain, one of Auckland’s most iconic and picturesque locations for portrait photography.
What made this session especially memorable is how naturally it evolved into more than just a graduation shoot. Alongside celebrating Lysea’s achievement, we also captured a beautiful mix of family moments and a small maternity session, making it a truly multi-layered celebration of this exciting chapter in their lives.
There is something very special about photographing these in-between moments - when one life milestone flows into another. The joy of graduation, the warmth of family connection, and the anticipation of a new baby all came together in a relaxed and emotional session.
The Auckland Domain provided the perfect backdrop, with its wide open spaces, gardens, and soft natural light creating a calm and timeless atmosphere for the photos.
