Bracu - Dianna and Jae {Auckland wedding photographer}

Im so excited to share with you gorgeous moments at Bracu where Dianna & Jae celebrated their special moments with close friends and family in South Auckland, Bombay hills at stunning olive estate. It was a honour for me to be their wedding photographer and document all emotional, beautiful and real moments!

Couple shared their love story: “ We knew each other's existence since 2013 but met eachother as single people in 2015 through mutual friends' outrageous night out. We started off as friends but wasn't smooth as Dianna thought Jae was cocky. Jae took interest and started feeding Dianna lots of his special homemade brownies to bribe her. However love portion in the brownies did not work , Dianna was not interested and rejected Jae initially . Jae started to have different approach and started to play hard to get. Dianna realised that she had feelings for Jae and started dating on boxing day 2015 down at the rock cliff at the mission bay view point. We have been dating since then so It has been almost 4 years now! We got engaged on September 2018.”

The proposal: “He took me to a nice restauarant after work for dinner. Then blindfolded me and said we were going to a desserts restaurant. Jae tried to take me to the place where we had our kiss and started dating properly down the rocks at mission bay view point. But it was raining and we couldn't go down to the rocks. Jae also prepared a story book of photos of our 4 years together to show me and went through our highlights of the relationship . Jae popped the question outside in the rain while I was kindly holding up the umbrella. Then we went to have some movenpick ice cream to relax.” Amazing love story!

Bracu - First Presbyterian Church {Auckland wedding photographers} Ilinke and Shaun

Ilinke & Shaun

I been really excited about Ilinke & Shaun's wedding after their special engagement shoot where we spent amazing time on one of the Auckland beaches {Ilinke's mum made a special flower crown for her}. As a wedding photogpraher I love to spend time with couples beforehand to better know each other, feel on ease on the wedding day and get some great shots of course :)! Couple's wedding took place on amazing day in First Presbyterian church with traditional ceremony and following reception in Bracu {Bombay, Auckland, NZ}. There was such amazing atmosphere with great families and friends!

Ilinke shares couple story: "Shaun and I met through friends. One day he invited me for a walk on the beach and a coffee. To this day this has been our favorite thing to do; it's a peaceful activity that allows us to connect and spend quality time together. ~In high tides or low tides i'll be by your side~" Their proposal was just amazing: "Shaun and I travelled with our family and friends to Wellington. I was getting admitted as a lawyer in the High Court of New Zealand. After my admittance we took a walk down the waterfront as the sun was setting; Shaun proposed at the love-lock bridge. There were bag pipes in the background by coincidence. He had a lock engraved and we threw the key in the sea and locked in our love. We got back to celebrate with friends and family. " Such a great and romantic story!

I love how couple incorporated their special tradition in their wedding day: "Shaun loves playing golf and i love watching golf. Instead of table numbers we have table names of the golf courses I have lived on growing up, Shaun's favorite courses he has played and the courses we wish to travel to together." Such original idea and I can totally relate to this as my husband Matt {second photogpraher} just loves playing golf. :)

Amazing day for amazing and truly loving people!

Happy future together!

Bracu wedding - Simunovich Olive Estate {Auckland weddings photographers} Chauntelle+Jayden

Chauntelle & Jayden

Chauntelle & Jayden celebrated their special day in Bracu Restaurant and Pavilion {Bombay, Auckland , New Zealand}, - Simunovich Olive Estate - with close friends and families and warm atmosphere, full of love and positive emotions. Congratulations to this amazing couple, its such a honour to be your wedding photographers and document so special for you moments.

Their love story and proposal just beautiful: "We meet through friends when we were 16 within our religion, we've liked each other since... We went out to dinner at wildfire in Auckland icity, talked heaps ate heaps, was really nice to be alonge togther, was our only official date we've had (it's because in our religion we follow very closely older traditions) than we walked along the viaduct . We found a beautiful place to sit and chat and he pulled out this little book I had made him more than a year ago, it had pictures and little memories in there. At the back of the book on the last page I left empty and he wrote in it will you marry me, and that's how he proposed! Was beautiful :)"

Happy future together and hope you are enjoying your honeymoon on Bali :)
