Engagement session on Muriwai Beach {Auckland pre-wedding photographer} Meghan and Anton

Hello beautiful people!

I would love to share with you today a gorgeous engagement session on Muriwai Beach {West Auckland}, where I had a honour to take pre-wedding photographs as a couples photographer for Meghan & Anton. I can not wait till their wedding in Gracehill in February. Not long to go now!
We had an amazing time, walking and talking near the rocks and cave, looking at amazing landscapes and powerful ocean, discussing all the wedding plans and more.

The weather was really windy and frozen, but we moved around very fast capturing some real and natural romantic moments, going with the flow.

Best moments of the season {Auckland wedding-engagement-family photographer}

As there plenty of time to slow down, reflect and look back at self-isolation, I decided to put together some favourite best moments of the past season in Auckland with wedding, engagement and family photography. As a photographer Im so blessed to capture beautiful, emotional and real moments of my couples that put their trust in my hands, connecting to my style, vision and personality as well.

I can not wait when government take off all limitations when situation with Covid-19 will settle and we will be able again to have an amazing time and document some honest and stunning moments. Not long to go now!

Announcement - L & L {Auckland wedding-family photographer}

Hello beautiful people!
As you may know New Zealand government announced Alert level 4 {Covid-19} which means we move to self-isolation and no gathering are allowed {indoors or outdoors}.
What it means for my photography clients? All scheduled sessions will be postponed {you have right to choose a new suitable date based on availability}.
I will be working with my wedding clients to find the best possible date that suits our calendars {you will receive a credit towards the new date, scheduling preferably one year from the original wedding date, but can be stretched further based on your needs and government advice on Covid-19 situation}. New contract may be required to secure your new date {all money already paid will be applied to the new date}.
I already announced a week ago my live workshops in Auckland and Sydney are postponed till next year.
Luckily, my online workshop Love, Light & Laughter still go ahead - begin 23 March at Click Photo School www.clickphotoschool.com/love-light-laughter
Only one day to go! Last Call, get in quickly! :)
My heart feels for everyone who have a big loss in this situation {all my friends, couples, small and big businesses etc}, but we need to come together and support each other!

P.S.: schools are closed from tomorrow, so my young kids are at home - homeschooling and Im sure getting crazy stuck inside. Top Nine - Best of 2019 {Auckland wedding - engagement - maternity - newborn-family photography}

This year was just amazing and Im so excited to share with you Best of 2019 - beautiful, emotional and real moments from wedding - engagement - maternity - newborn and family photography.

It was amazing and crazy busy year: with shooting 24 weddings and 17 photo shoots, including one styled shoot, traveling to Bali, Germany, Austria {Europe}, Melbourne, Australia and South Island of New Zealand {Christchurch, Auckland, Gore}; running 3 live photography workshops {two in Auckland and one in Melbourne}, and 4-weeks online workshop Love, Light & Laughter at Click Photo School. Such a beautiful time! I just loved to share my knowledge, my love and my soul!

I progressed in my ice skating, participating in Adult World Championship in Oberstdorf, and won some gold and silver medals on New Zealand Nationals, as well as participated with my synchro team in Australian Nationals, where we got very close to 3rd place with just 0.1 points of difference in scores!

Lot of hard work for the next year and exciting plans ahead! Practice and progress in everything I do!

I can not wait to see what next year brings!

My focus for the next year is harmony, balance, capture only limited number of weddings and sessions, concentrating on personal and educational projects/photography workshops, family and myself, keep doing ice skating and participating in international competitions. I hope to improve my level in everything I do. Having a good sport hobby allowing not only keep healthy body and mind, but also come back refresh to my photography and business. So important to find time for yourself!

Love, Light & Laughter workshop in Melbourne - Australia {Auckland wedding photographers}

This experience at Love, Light & Laughter in Melbourne - Australia was just unforgettable. Its not been traveling from Auckland, New Zealand, meeting all the amazing photographers and share all the knowledge, information, skills, but also sharing my heart and my soul.

They took something from me and I learnt from them as well. So much memories in these two days full of learning, inspiration and new friendships.

Family | Kids | Maternity | Newborn photography in Auckland {Muriwai Beach}

Im so excited to announce a new direction in my journey - Family | Kids | Maternity | Newborn photography in Auckland, as well as my educational projects for photographers {Ebook “Tales of the Moments” and live and online workshops “Love, Light & Laughter”.

As a mum and photographer myself I treasure these moments with my kids, they growing so fast. I had a lot of inquiries from my past wedding clients about maternity/newborn shoots and can’t accomodate them all till now.

I decided to do a big leap in my photography, business and lifestyle and take on ONLY limited number of weddings {10! per year comparing with over 40 weddings last season!} and also switch focus to short couples, family sessions and elopements to spend more time with my family. My kids 6, 7 and 12 years old need my attention and support.

I’m very excited to move deeper into the new revenue and switch attention from big events to intimate sessions with ability to capture closer even more love and connection! I appreciate your support! Spread the word around!

Clickin Walk 2019 - Karekare Beach + Falls {Auckland lifestyle family-wedding photographers}

Im so excited to share with you photos from very special event - annual Clickin Walk 2019 on Karekare Beach and Falls, where women {Auckland lifestyle family-wedding photographers, Clickin Moms} comes together once a year to meet, chat and take some photos on the way.

This time we met on amazing setting with gorgeous landscapes - wide open Karekare Beach, place where famous Piano was filmed.

We usually rotating location {last year it was Auckland City, previous year Muriwai beach}, and this time it was just perfect for finding peace and tranquility in a nature setting.

Ice, Mountains and Passion {travel journal - Auckland wedding photographer in Oberstdorf - Germany}

I want to share with you my recent travel news, in case if you noticed how quiet lately in our Blog: I been few weeks away , in Oberstdorf, Germany, for ISU International Adult Figure Skating Competitions, at Ice, Mountains, and share the Passion with amazing people from all over the world, with love to ice skating.

It is a honour for me not only be an Auckland wedding photographer, mentor, a mum, and wife, but also continue to do my passion - figure skating, such incredible sport with passion and grace! It always been a dream to participate in international competitions of such a big rank, and Im not shy to chance my dreams and just go for it, even if I back on ice only for a one year, after almost 8 years break with having kids and building a successful wedding photography business in Hamilton and Auckland, NZ, mentoring and running multiple educational projects. Hard work did paid off!

Such incredible rewarding experience with so many new friends, with warm support and cheer!

All dreams can come true if you believe in yourself and really want it to happen.

Shoot & Share Contest Results - Best photos {Auckland wedding photographer}

Im so excited to share with you recent Shoot & Share contest results {this is a truly amazing competition/awards where only audience voting for best photos}. Its such a honour for me, Auckland wedding photographer to get acknowledgement , be notices from hundred of thousands of submitted photographs.

Quick statistics:

One of my photos got 5th place from 46000 submitted in Couple/Engagement Category; 3 photos became finalists in Engagement, Lifestyle/Documentary and Travel/Landscape category; 12 photos got in top 10% in their categories and 17 photos in top 20 % in their categories. Such amazing results, a bit better then last year.

Im so grateful, thank you everyone who voted and to my awesome couple who made this results come true; also thank you to my little one, her photo got in the finalist in Documentary category.

Hobbiton Movie Set {New Zealand wedding-family photographer - personal}

Did you ever been in Hobbiton Movie Set, one of the most famous New Zealand attraction? Im as a wedding photographer cant help myself and capture some personal images in this beautiful setting!

You may noticed how quiet its been here over last couple of weeks/months. The answer is easy, I been giving more of my time to my family before busy wedding season start rolling {I actually almost don’t have a break during this winter, such a busy time all year long}. So Im keep shooting weddings, photo shoots, but also get an opportunity to sneak out to picturesque places for a few days with my family and kids.

This time we spent couple of nights in Rotorua and visited Hamilton Gardens on the way, Was-o-Tapu Thermal wonderland, Rainbow Springs and highlight of our trip - Hobbiton movie set. Need to mentioned my mum come over to New Zealand from Russia for a first time, so good to travel around and show our amazing country with tranquil and beautiful landscapes!

Everyday Moments - Family Time {Auckland lifestyle kids - newborn photographer}

Rangefinder Contest Winner {Auckland - New Zealand lifestyle wedding-family photographer}

I have amazing news: my personal project photo just won a Rangefinder Contest - first place in Children category!

You might know already I not only a wedding photographer, but also mum of two active little ones and often enjoying take a family photos.
