Wedding Photographer Society Awards - September'17 {New Zealand weddings photographers}

Excited to share with you exciting news - photograph from Jenny & Andrew wedding in Castaways where we honored to be a wedding photographer just won a Wedding Photographers Society Award - September'17. Its a pleasure to be in company of such a talented photographers from all around the world.

Thank you so much our amazing couples for sharing with us such a special moments, we appreciate the opportunity to spend time with such awesome brides and grooms and their close friends and families in gorgeous places around New Zealand and beyond.

Looking forward to wedding season 2017-2018, starting rolling this Saturday with the first wedding in Waitakere. We are so excited to capture the first wedding of the season!

Mangawhai Heads Beach Engagement Session {Auckland NZ wedding photographers} Dahlia and Ibrahim

We had a fantastic engagement session with Dahlia & Ibrahim on Mangawhai Heads beach just before the sunset. It was my first time traveling to this amazing location, I'm as an Auckland wedding photographer shot weddings and engagements in so many places in New Zealand, but on this beach yet, so it was a great pleasure to explore a new stunning pre-wedding location. 

The couple shared their love story and how was made a proposal:

"We met 7 years ago through my cousin who came to visit me in my architecture studio and I showed him around. We've been friends ever since then but never quite thought the other would be interested in the other. A year and a half ago we started rock climbing together and we started going every week and became in separable in between sessions. So we have a foundation of the best of friendships. ", said Dahlia.

"On one of our first dates we went on a hike in the Waitakere ranges, what started off as a 3 hour hike turned into a 7 hour hike after getting lost. It was cold and the track was muddy and slippery and messy. We ran and climbed and swam in ponds all the way back (boot camp style) because the sun was going down. But it was the funniest, most memorable experience so the Zion hill trek was really special for us and that's where he proposed. Waiting at the top of the mountain for me as my friend and I hiked up and she disappeared behind me as we got to the look out. It was super romantic and beautiful. " The story sounds so special and romantic!

We had fantastic time with couple exploring the seaside, climbing rocks and walking and chatting.

Auckland Botanic Gardens Engagement Session - Spring Cherry Blossom {Waikato wedding photographer} sneak peek

I'm so excited to share with you an engagement session sneak peek with Megan & Daniel; photo shoot took place in Auckland Botanic Gardens, right at the spring season cherry blossom tree. It was a great pleasure for me, Waikato wedding photographer to take some unique, natural, candid and emotional photos for this gorgeous couple.

We met with bride and groom at the Botanic Gardens right before the sunset and walked around and talk about their engagement and upcoming wedding. It was a real pleasure to have met such an extraordinary couple!  Both their families and friends also, at their beautiful in-home engagement party in the couple's new house in Karaka, Auckland.  The engagement party came together with their housewarming event. 

It is always a big honour for me, as the photographer, to capture the bride and groom's story right from the beginning, following through the pre-wedding photo shoot and then to capture unique moments for them on their wedding day.

This party was just fantastic, full of warm and cozy atmosphere, laughter and special moments.

Wild Hearts Real Wedding publication {New Zealand weddings photographers in Auckland}

I am so honored to have been interviewed by Wild Hearts {gorgeous source for wedding planning, inspiration and much more} - Blog and Fairs.  Thank you for the incredible opportunity to open my heart and soul, and share the moments of our fine art and documentary work around Auckland, New Zealand and beyond.  Thank you so much for this beautiful publication and feature of the wedding of Kara & David, who made it all the way over from Canada to Waihi Beach {Waikato, NZ}, to celebrate their special day with close friends and families.  We were thrilled to be invited as their wedding photographers to document their special day.

The wedding was so gorgeous!  Full of romantic, real and timeless moments, and unforgettable!  One of our photos won SILVER in recent NZIPP Iris Awards 2017 {Wellington, New Zealand}.  Such a significant achievement!

My everyday moments August 2017 - 365 {Hamilton Waikato family - wedding photographer}

Winter has flown by so fast; it's hard to believe Spring time is coming, warmer and sunnier weather on the way!  Another month with my 365 Project {third year in a row}.  August has brought some amazing moments.  We spent some time away from Hamilton, Waikato and stayed at Omokoroa holiday park with hot pools for the weekend.  The kids had so much fun!  I have also been sick for almost three weeks (exact time in between of my weddings - engagement work), I guess my body just felt like it needed to have a rest, which almost impossible with two little ones!  Our everyday moments have been documented all month long, and you can have a look at this final gallery, with some highlights capturing all our moving and messy moments.

Excited to share with you: Jessica & Chris's vineyard wedding in Villa Maria {Auckland, New Zealand}, has just been published by BG Bridal Gallery.  It is such a huge honour for us, their wedding photographers, to see our Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and other New Zealand weddings featured around the world in prestigious Blogs and Magazines.

Their wedding was elegant, beautiful, full of laughter and natural moments. We spent an amazing time in Cornwall park with "first look", and then on to the ceremony and reception at Villa Maria next to the grapevines and great landscapes.  We loved every moment of this gorgeous wedding.

Auckland West Coast Beach Photo Shoot in How He Asked {New Zealand wedding photographers}

Fantastic news coming from overseas: breathtaking Auckland West Coast Beach photo shoot with Katrina & Marc {on Bethells Beach} just been published in How He Asked by The Knot.

Our engagement session took place on the beautiful open space black sand beach near Waitakere Ranges in West Auckland, not far from Kumeu. We met with a couple just before the sunset and spent amazing time together - walking in the grass, running in the waves, climbing on the rocks and walking into the cave. Unforgettable memories!

Piha beach pre-wedding engagement session {Auckland weddings photographer} Elena and Rick

We met with this amazing couple on Piha beach {Auckland, New Zealand} on Sunday rainy  afternoon. Really excited about couples engagement and upcoming wedding. Their pre-wedding session was a great opportunity to know better the couple, had some walk and talk and capture some stunning photos. Even rain only add to the atmosphere making photos more moody and dramatic.

I loved every single moment of our session, walking on the beach, climbing up the rocks and siting on the grass at sunset and even walking in the cold waves {yes, it was freezing, ha-ha!}. Couple been really brave to stand on the top of the cliff in front of the big ocean waves! Such amazing experience!

Elena & Rick shared their love story: "Rick and I met when we were studying in Otago. We were in the same marketing class, and got put in the same marketing group for an assignment. It started from there really, and our relationship developed. We did do long distance for about a year, while Rick was playing Ice Hockey in France and Australia, and while I was still at University. We have been together now for just over 5 years." Proposal: "We were in Queenstown for a long weekend, and had planned to do a day trip on the Routeburn track, so we were staying in Glenorchy. We went on the walk early in the morning and planned to get right up to the Routeburn Falls hut and back in a day. On the way back down, we pulled over to the side of the river, as we were quite tired, and Rick started acting strange. As I stood up, Rick quickly got down on one knee and started a very sweet speech. I couldn't quite believe it, it was very surreal, but super special. And of course I said yes :)" Such a sweet and romantic story, love!

Wild Hearts Wedding Fair highlights {Auckland weddings photographers}

It was a great pleasure to participate in Wild Hearts wedding fair {Auckland, New Zealand} and had a good chat with lovely brides and grooms and their close friends and families who come over to support. Also great networking with other wedding vendors, it was great to see familiar faces and had a good conversations about weddings and everything around.

This fair had also runway shows with wedding gowns designers and bridesmaids dresses as well as cute flower girls dresses. Also Together journal pick the panel of experts and had some interviews helping couples to plan their wedding day and choose their suppliers.
